Artist Statement
My work explores the relationship between form, space, and transformation, creating sculptural environments that evolve over time. Inspired by artists like Dan Flavin and James Turrell, I often integrate hidden light within my pieces—allowing them to stand as striking forms in daylight while revealing an immersive presence after dark. This interplay between structure and illumination, visibility and concealment invites viewers to experience my work in multiple dimensions.
Rooted in minimalism and architectural precision, my sculptures merge materiality, spatial awareness, and engineered elements to create both aesthetic objects and dynamic experiences. While light plays a vital role in many of my works, my focus extends beyond illumination to explore how form, reflection, movement, and negative space interact with their environment. Some pieces are defined by their geometric purity and structural rhythm, while others use hidden light to create an ethereal glow that activates after dark. Regardless of medium, my goal is to craft works that shift perception, engaging audiences through material and energy.
For me, art is not about imposing itself onto space—it is about harmonizing with it, evolving within it, and inviting discovery. By balancing form, light, and spatial presence, I create works that exist in multiple states—static yet alive, defined yet fluid, present yet ever-changing. My mission is to push the boundaries of contemporary sculpture, crafting experiences that transform ordinary environments into spaces of contemplation, wonder, and connection.

Medium
Light is my primary medium—a transformative force that transcends material and perception. Paired with metal, I create sculptural environments that shift between presence and invisibility, structure and energy. My process integrates custom LED systems, often concealed within the piece, allowing my works to transform—from refined sculptural forms by day to immersive, luminous experiences at night.
The relationship between light and metal is central to my work. The strength and adaptability of metal provide a foundation for precise geometric compositions, while light introduces an ephemeral quality—a dialogue between solidity and fluidity. By embedding illumination within my sculptures, I create works that are not just illuminated objects, but living forms that evolve with time and interaction.
Through the careful manipulation of light, metal, and spatial presence, my work activates environments, engaging the senses and reshaping perception. Whether through subtle gradients of illumination, bold geometric contrasts, or purely sculptural interventions, my goal is to create pieces that transform the way people interact with space—revealing new dimensions through light, reflection, and form.
